PERSONAL PROJECTS
-
The foundation of the design and production skills I have gained came from a 3-year bachelor course of Branded Fashion Design at Billy Blue (Torrens University) that was completed at the end of 2022.
The many subjects I undertook such as design theory, fashion history, practical pattern garment development, illustration, graphic design, marketing, buying and wholesale, all lead to a series of final projects in my third year where I created my own brand.
The course enabled me to delve deep into the development of this brand where I could flesh out the brand's identity, create visually engaging branded merchandise, develop and create four collections from initial concept to final product and photo-shoot for social accounts and website.
Here I also learnt the ins-and-outs of Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom & InDesign. I have taken these skills with me to all jobs and now consider myself an advanced user.
